The mission of the Christian Community Service Center is to serve the poor, hungry, disabled, and otherwise needy while respecting their religious, ethnic or cultural differences. CCSC was created out of faith, and founded in the belief that we are called to help all God's children heart to heart and hand in hand.Every August is "Back to School" time with a clothing drive, sorting day and distribution day. In December they host the annual "Jingle Bell Express". Donated toys are sorted by age level and distributed to needy families. Volunteers for these events are needed to aid with sorting the items and assisting families on distribution days. ROBC will participate and advertise these opportunities during the year, but you can also visit the CCSC website for more details.
