Wade Hopkins Bio:

Wade Hopkins, an Area Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, was raised in Pasadena, TX.  A 1987 graduate of Sam Rayburn High School, Wade played college football at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri.  It was at SBU that Wade committed his life to Jesus Christ while becoming a two time All American at wide receiver before graduating with a math degree in 1991.  He was later inducted into the school’s Sports Hall of Fame in 2000.  After graduation Wade spent five years chasing a football dream that took him from Houston with the Oilers, to New England with the Patriots, to Canada with the Winnipeg Bluebombers only to bring him back to Houston to experience Arena Football with the Texas Terror.  It was his time with the Oilers that connected him with Houston FCA.  In 1996 Wade joined the staff of Houston FCA and for the last 25 years has been serving His Lord through this incredible ministry.  Wade has been married to Julie for 29 years and celebrates the lives of their three daughters, Grace Ann and Bethany (recent college graduates) and Bonnie, a junior at Texas A&M.
